WELCOME TO
Financial Literacy Alliance of the Northeast. 

For over 75 years we have proudly served the Albany NY area as the Society of Financial Service Professionals, Eastern NY Chapter. Due to a recent merger, we as a chapter decided to become independent.

We are excited to formally introduce our new organization, the Financial Literacy Alliance of the Northeast, and look forward to a strong presence in our community.

Our mission is Empowering Futures through Financial Education and Resources. The Financial Literacy Alliance (FLA) will be focusing on bringing financial literacy into our community. We are proud to announce our partnership with the American College to allow us to use their financial literacy curriculum, and the necessary resources to help empower futures within our community.

Every FLA member who presents the curriculum will have already passed the necessary course work, and gone through an extensive background check following an interview with the Board of Directors. As we begin this Financial Literacy journey, our focus is to share our resources to help others.

We believe that our new organization will help us align our new focus and enable us to establish a stronger presence as a dedicated advocate for financial literacy. We are also excited to get back to our roots and host community events and spread financial education with like-minded professionals.
